About The Book
Nearly 7 years ago I lost my sister Chanda and her husband Jordan along with my niece and nephew Kamryn and Miguire to a drunk driver.
Join me as I share my experiences around grief, tragedy and complete devastation as well as forgiveness, peace and growth.
I have just started writing in a very rough form as I work closely with my writing coach. Her and I discuss weekly what I should work on as far as content and word count. So far I am loving the experience and I look forward to sharing how it is going for me.
My hopes are to raise awareness around drinking and driving to prevent other families from going through what my family has gone through.
I am collaborating as best I can with the woman who is incarcerated for committing the senseless act that took four of my favorite people from my life.
It is my belief that my family’s story along with Catherine and her children’s stories will make for an incredible book through a very real and raw account of how the car accident has affected all of us.
My journey through the extreme ups and downs of grief and sorrow have led me into a world I didn’t expect. One in which I have become more and more open to sharing my thoughts and feelings of forgiveness and growth. The more I talk about it the more I realize that I need to be even more public about the entire experience. I believe our stories will have a very positive impact on other people that are going through similar experiences.
